I suppose that I should begin by introducing myself...my name is Megan. I travel a lot for work and thought that I might use my free minutes to post a few thoughts, stories, and pretty things here and there. I have a wonderful husband, we'll call him The Dude, who supports the crazy job that puts me on a plane at least once a week.

I knew after the first semester of law school that going to work at a law firm was not the right fit for me, so I began my search for other career options. Funny how what you think is a bump in the road can actually be a kick in the right direction. I got my dream job after graduation as a result of a serendipitous meeting and a little bit of stalking (just kidding...sort of...).
I am thankful that I get to do something that I love (well, most days :).
I am a fundraising consultant for non-profit organizations, which sends me all over the country. This is great for frequent flyer miles, but tough on newlyweds. Despite my crazy schedule, we have had a wonderfully smooth first 2 years for marriage. Absence does make the heart grow fonder, but it can also take a toll if you let it. Everyday, I am working to be a better wife and friend.
Dude, I love you...thanks for being my rock.
I would be in big trouble if I did not introduce you to our kids

I hope that my posts will be something to look forward to each day. I hope that this will be my longest post! I plan to keep it brief...we'll see if I can stick to that :)
